Joy - the word that most comes to mind when shooting Amy & James' wedding. The love and happiness of this beautiful couple was so evident from the moment the wedding began all the way through to the very end of their day. It made it hard for me (in a good way!) to edit their photos as it was hard to pick from so many favourite images for the final selection. Choosing to get married at their own property was an inspired decision, with so many intimate and beautiful surroundings to capture their love and celebrations.
see moreI loved everything about capturing this day from start to finish. The weather was perfect, Philippa & Matt were so chilled out and relaxed and their whole bridal party were such good fun to be around, it made my job as a photographer a breeze. The setting of the Red Barn has to be one of the Waikato's most stunning locations for a wedding including the romantic Grotto and the rolling hills which are positioned perfectly to capture a couple in love at sunset.
see moreOn a warm autumn day overlooking the Hokianga harbour, Cherie and Jordan were married at The Heads, Hokianga. It was such a picturesque coastal location with the stunning aqua water and golden sand dunes across the bay. The sunset we sneaked out to photograph in was to die for with beautiful golden clouds and light, and it topped off an amazing day spent with their family and friends.
see moreCraig & Danyel were married in an intimate ceremony in his mother's well-known Taranaki garden. It was their dream to have photos with Mt Taranaki as a backdrop, and despite terrible weather the day before and after the wedding, luck was with them on their special day! We also hiked up Wairere Falls for an epic post-wedding shoot in the Waikato two months later - the views over the the area at golden hour were just sublime!
see moreThis elopement wedding photography with Yash and Briar was a real highlight for me, it's not often I get to photograph such a beautiful couple in such a stunning setting. The day was perfect from start to finish, with incredible sunrise and golden hour light at Lake Tarawera, followed by soft late afternoon light amongst the cherry blossoms around the Waikato.
see moreGarden weddings are one of my favourite weddings to photograph. Everyone just seems so relaxed in the outdoor setting and this was certainly true for Bryn and Nicole's wedding held in Bryn's parents' garden in Oakura, Taranaki. We were able to take advantage of golden hour down at Oakura Beach for some intimate couple shots.
see moreIt was such a privilege to be part of this amazing couple's wedding at The Pacific Resort in Rarotonga. Sam & Alesha had decided they would meet up before the ceremony so we had plenty of time to take photos at our leisure and had a ball exploring every nook and cranny of the island and it is so photogenic!
see moreDaya & Gary have to be one of the sweetest couples I've had the pleasure of photographing. Their love and devotion to each other shone through in their day, celebrated at Windy Ridge in Ohaupo.
see moreOne of the most fun weddings I've been to, Roslyn & Clayton didn't stop laughing and having a great time during their sultry afternoon wedding in the Italian Gardens in Hamilton's award winning gardens.
see moreSummer doesn't always bring hot, sunny weather and Blair and Hannah's wedding day in January was moody and rainy but it sure gave their images a lovely atmospheric feel. They were married at the intimate chapel of St Peter's School in Cambridge followed by a reception at The Boatshed on Lake Karapiro.
see moreJackie & Heidi were married on a beautiful clear spring day at Brackenridge Estate in Martinborough in the Wairarapa. It was a joyful celebration, and about as relaxed as a wedding day could be in a beautiful country location.. They went the extra mile to make sure their guests all had a great time and the setting really lent itself to a chilled out and enjoyable atmosphere.
