tourism and business PHOTOGRAPHY

Here are a few of my projects working with some great Kiwi businesses.

I specialise in social media promotion via a large following on Instagram and Facebook, as well as tailored content for your business, whether that is  dedicated website content through blog posts or by providing high-resolution images for your marketing use.

International Hobbit Day

I was invited by The Mighty Waikato team to be part of the International Hobbit Day Instagram influencer weekend, exploring Hairy Feet, Waitomo Caves and Hobbiton for the celebrations. The sunrise I experienced at Hobbiton was so sensational that one of my images taken from Bilbo's Bag End hobbit hole went viral on Instagram, resulting in Royal Caribbean contacting me to work with them on the launch of the world's largest cruise ship.

Royal Caribbean International

Royal Caribbean International invited me and my family to fly halfway around the world from New Zealand to Barcelona, Spain to be their guests for the official launch and inaugural voyage of the world's newest and largest cruise ship, Symphony of the Seas. We spent a week on board the ship cruising around the Mediterranean while providing social media content and imagery for Royal Caribbean to help promote this special occasion.

Wilderness Motorhomes

I regularly work with Wilderness Motorhomes to promote travel by campervan round New Zealand in their luxurious motorhomes. I have completed several trips around different regions of New Zealand with Wilderness in a range of different motorhomes and in different seasons, promoting these via Instagram and Facebook stories and posts, Youtube video tours of the motorhome interior and website blog posts. Check out my posts from our Northland and South Island trips.

Waipa Billboards

Waipa District Council approached me to use my Waikato images to replace their 11 roadside billboards around the region. These are prominently displayed in locations such as State Highway 1 and State Highway 3 which have some of the biggest traffic volumes for highways in New Zealand. They later engaged me on a separate project to create specific images for large billboards to advertise Cambridge as a destination for travellers on the Waikato expressway. Waipa have recently renewed their contract with new images of the region for another four years.

Alphra Lavender Farm

I have been engaged as the official photographer for Alphra Lavender since 2017 providing imagery on an ongoing basis for their commercial needs during the summer lavender flowering season which runs from early December to late January. They also sell my lavender images taken at the farm (prints, canvases, cards and magnets) at their onsite shop throughout the year. I also host photography events at the farm during the flowering season for aspiring photographers.

Southern Fresh Group

Southern Fresh Group engaged me to provide aerial drone photography of their Waikato salad farms for their website and to be used as a 6 metre display image in their office. I also provided high resolution imagery of the hydroponic indoor growing facility, capturing the system in action.

Zempire Camping

Zempire Camping invited me to promote their inflatable Aero Pro family series of tents, and we took the tent and other Zempire products to the far north of the Coromandel and put these to the test. A year later, Zempire also asked me to undertake a commercial photo shoot together with Hunting & Fishing to promote their new summer range of camping products.

Whakarewarewa

Whakarewarewa - The Living Maori Village is Rotorua's most authentic thermal and Maori experience. I was engaged to provide a suite of high resolution images showcasing the village's thermal and cultural activities.
