Cherie & Jordan - Hokianga Northland Wedding

Venue: The Sands Hotel Hokianga, Northland

The Hokianga harbour could not be a more picturesque setting for a wedding with its azure water and remarkable golden sand dunes. I first met Cherie and Jordan when Cherie bought a canvas of one of my Mt Taranaki images online for Jordan while living in Australia. They'd recently moved to NZ, and it was such a privilege to meet them in person and capture their special day. We worked our couple and bridal party photography around little 8-month old August, choosing to time these photos before a late afternoon ceremony and reception. Despite being hampered by Omicron and a few people missing the big day, Cherie and Jordan took everything in their stride with smiles and grace, and they are such a delightful couple that I was more than happy to travel 5 hours north from home to be a part of their wedding day!
